Hello all :) The other day I made myself a few headbands. All my other headbands similar to this one had tough elastic in them, which gave me the most irritating headache only after a few minutes of wearing them.

Well on with the small tut. I've cut a piece of fabric with these measurements 17 & a half inches (Length) & 8 inches (Width). The width can be any length, I've just made mine wider. The wider the width, it gives a more gathered appearance which I prefer.
Secondly fold the material in half & sew it together along the top. Flip it out. Now with a tinier piece of fabric, make a little tube. I don't think that needs any explaining...

Shove the bigger piece of fabric into the smaller tube & then fold the bigger tube in half. Sew the ends together, flip it out the other way and cover the sewed bit with the little tube. Voila, ladies & gents. Your snugly fitted headband is now finished & ready to wear.

I adore the leopard velvet one I've made. I know it has more of an autumn/winter feel to it but here the weather is still clinging onto winter! Which sucks cos I'm so keen to get my tan on :(

Well I hope you all have a lovely weekend. I'm going to be revving up the artist gene within me. I was going to study but as you can see... I tried & found a dead centipede in my text book! I think that's a sign that finance just isn't my thing (It's so damn boring)... Not that I'm going to drop the subject. Now that would be a total waste.

Anyway, I hope you all have a lovely or party rockin' weekend.
