Howdy Y'all! I've been a busy bee lately with work and more work once I get home but the work I do at home is much, much more fun though as it's preparing my new store! I'm opening a new store up and unlike ModeBarbie and BadBarbie it's going to be completely bona fide.

More on my store a bit later.

Today I headed to town to get supplies from Lincraft and Spotlight (Got to use my $5.00 off voucher, first time using a voucher too! Happy, happy.) today, was planning on snapping pictures for my graphics designer but boo it started to rain.

Sooo.. When I was in town this really cute kid stopped and stared at me in awe like I was a superhero, it was super adorable and gave me a really amazing feeling. Anyway the kid goes to her mama, 'Look at that girl mum, she looks like a cowgirl'. Friggen adorable.



It was probably my denim cut offs and pleather cowboy boots. Oh maybe, just maybe the hat as well ;)




I know, I know. I have sussed picture of Yuria Kushido on my wall.... beside my bed. I swear it's not for fapping hahahaha. It's more of a thinspiration thing and look at me, almost there yippee! Also that tweet screencap, I'm totally bragging there. My idol/inspiration randomly called me cute! :D



Demon face and.... Dun da da duuun, Demon offspring. They're almost two weeks old.

Back to the topic of my new store. I've decided to make a new store. This new store I will mainly sell items that I've personally made or designed. Everything will be... for lack of word 'legit' (I hate that word legit haha!). For ModeBarbie and BadBarbie I shamelessly stole images from my favourite charisma gal blogs and magazines and that doesn't look good plus it can get messy with copyright issues. So for my new store all images will be taken by myself or a professional photographer. I have two models, a dashing young man and an overwhelmingly gorgeous lady (If you have me on twitter, you may have seen a pic of this stunning lady). I'm currently working with a freelance designer to help with my logo and layout. My designer has been an absolute darling by stepping out of her comfort zone of all things kawaii and getting gritty with the dark side for my store. There's so many people I want to thank for all the advice and help they are offering but I will make separate posts for each of them.

With this new store, I might be shutting down BadBarbie. BadBarbie is going great don't get me wrong but it's just not my thing anymore. I've lost all interest in BadBarbie and cannot wait to get on with my new store which will require more of my creativity and ladypower, seems like a lot of work but I need something to stimulate my mind.

Easter Bunny

I think it's time I finally introduced my blue purebred mini lop Luna. Luna is exactly three months old today, I got her from Canterbury Blue Belles Rabbitry. Before I got Luna I was on two waiting lists from two separate breeders for months, so long it got to the point that I thought I wasn't ever going to get my hands on a bunny. Then I found Canterbury Blue Belles & fell in love with blue coated animals, it's a slate blue shade but really it's like a dark grey (I love grey!) that gleams blue in certain lighting.

I was very picky with my breeders as most rabbits lets say.. Do not age gracefully haha. Luna's parents look very cute although old, no lumpy bumps on their heads like I see on most aged rabbits. Cute chubby cheeks which according to one breeder only some bunnies have & not to mention Canterbury Blue Belles bunnies are all toilet trained & at no extra cost!

How awesome is that, no need to toilet train at all!

I initially wanted a male bunny, as I've only had male pets but after a few emails I was convinced to get a female. Luna's mother is sooooooooo tiny despite the fact that she's given birth several times. After I confirmed I wanted a Canterbury Blue Bunny, I was put on the waiting list. Three months later & only a weeks notice beforehand I got Luna.

Her new princess igloo bed. Which she seldom uses, I think she prefers hard surfaces to sleep on.



This is the state of her cage when I wasn't prepared for her, made do with Chinese take-away containers as her feeding bowls but now she has ice-cream style ceramic feeding bowls & more toys!



She has a bad habit of sleeping in this position, I absolutely hate coming home & seeing her sleep like this. The first few times I thought she was dead.... I still do sometimes every time.





One of the cutest & most painful habit she has, is to sit on my shoulder. It hurts because of her nails when she tries to balance herself. When I'm sitting down on the floor she will get on my lap & climb up onto my shoulders & just chill there, she also does this when I'm on my laptop browsing. I can do chores, walk around with her just staying there, which is freaky since rabbits are supposed to be afraid of heights.



Another bad habit is her foot fetish. Not only do I have to be careful about where I step I also have to watch my shoes. She gets high from chewing my shoes or licking my feet. Sometimes she's just content with laying close to my feet but if she's not she'll nip me for feet strokes haha. Occasionally when I get out bed in the middle of the night, it's like she knows where I will place my feet & will purposely stand right in that spot to get stepped on. Weird.



I'll write a post about the pros & cons of owning a bunny & some advice soon.
