Shoppingholics.Com Puffy Three Tone Series

Late last year shoppingholics sent me a pair of lens to review but I didn't like how it looked on me so refused to review it. So earlier this year I bought myself Puffy Three Tone in grey and brown from them to review instead of the other lens and they gave me purple and pink from the same series! Super generous and ever so kind.

Ok I'm not a fan of outrageous colours for lens like pink or purple but honestly, these are quiet tolerable. Especially the purple, I really like the purple. I personally wouldn't wear these out in public but they'll be great for photos. The fact that they're not a vivid design and everything blends in beautifully makes them very erm well, as natural looking as far as funky colour lens go.

I do love the brown and grey from this series. I would prefer it more if they weren't a whopping 14.5mm, maybe it's because I'm used to wearing my daily small 14.00mm EOS New Adult Browns. Theses do enlarge my eyes by a lot, I'm not into massive googly eyes anymore. That's the only flaw these lens have for me but other than the size they're my second favourite circle lens series after EOS New Adults.

Right now ShoppingHolics is having an up to 40% off sale which ends 30th June 2012 and with every pair of lens of pair you buy you get a free cute animals lens case. Spend over $50.00USD and they'll give you free shipping! Take advantage of this generous sale. Head to ShoppingHolics now: http://shoppingholics.com/

VanityBox.Com.Au PeriPera Wonder Of Lips

Photobucket

Hello all, again this is such an overdue review. I'm lucky to have such understanding sponsors. Anyway here's my review for PeriPera Wonder of Lips from VanityBox.Com.Au

As always Kean from Vanity Box let me pick whichever ones I wanted to try. Being a lipstick lover I was going to snag all of them but nooo, I would have felt so bad so picked Reggae Beige and Cherry Pink. Before I go into detail with the colours, let's talk about texture and lipsticky stuff.

PeriPera Wonder of Lips are very creamy but not thick as say MAC or NYX lipsticks but they're creamy and glide on lips very well. As said and promised on the website they are non drying, that is true. The moisterising is probably on the same level as Maybelline's Baby Lips however this is much creamier and smoother and from my experience with the two the PeriPera outlasts Baby Lips in moisture but then again Baby Lips is a lip balm not a lipstick. You get the drift though.

Another thing I applied these lipsticks on with a heavy hand, with a lighter hand these could be sheer lipsticks. Or lip balms with a heavy tint. I don't know, I'm not really a beauty blogger. Trying hard to describe these things!

I have no idea why I picked Reggae Beige. I figured last year that nude coloured lipsticks do not compliment me at all, it just looks very odd with my naturally plumped lips plus it doesn't go well with my skin color. Although I do love M.A.C's Myth which I wear under all my pink lipsticks. Hopping back on track surprisingly Reggae Beige wasn't so bad at all, it's very flattering possibly because it's a peachy nude. I believe it will go well with many skin tones.

Now my favourite colour of the two I picked out, Cherry Pink! I love colours on my lips and these just pop! The colour reminds me of a lip tint I have but in a solid creamier form. The pictures above do no justice for it, I don't know why but my camera washed it out a bit. It's actually deeper in colour just like it's promotional images.

Right now Vanity Box is having a mid year sale, many cosmetic items are reduced and not only do they stock cosmetics but also a variety of apparel, accessories and bags. Be sure to check that out, especially those who adore Korean cosmetics and style.

SigmaBeauty.Com F80 Kabuki Brush

Yay, another blog post. I'm on a roll guyz.

Photobucket
I'm running out of poses, had to resort to duck face. Oh god.

Awhile back.... A long while back in fact, Simga Beauty approached me and asked me to be an affiliate. I was beyond stoked, Sigma is such a large company. Then every other blogger was like 'oh, join the club'. Seriously?! Oh well I felt special for a nanosecond, all good! Anyway I was sent the F80 Flat Synthetic Kabuki Brush.

On the website here it says this brush is used best with liquid or cream products on flat areas of the face like your forehead and cheeks. I did more research and found their videos on this brush. Actually I really didn't know how to use the brush properly hence why the research lol.

As shown in the first video it's great for basically all base products, liquid, cream and even powder. In this blog post I've used it for/with my PeriPeraBB cream, Mac liquid concealor under my eyes/bit on my chin, forehead. Revlon powder to set everything, Mac bronzer and a bit of blush. It works! In between each new product all I had to do was dab off extra excess of the previous product onto a tissue.

I previously used a stipple brush for my foundation but I've replaced it with this brush because this is practically an all in one brush and I'm lazy. Less brushes to clean, thank you sigma. Another thing, this brush is very easy to clean although it's very dense.

Decided to use these pictures

This is my first Sigma brush and it's lived up to it's hype. I've been meaning for the longest time (Almost two years wtf lol) to get a set a Sigma brushes and I will soon, of course!

Their packaging for one brush! Isn't it fab?! I was too excited to take proper high quality pictures but you can tell here they put a lot of effort into their packaging.

You can get yourself one of these babies here: http://www.sigmabeauty.com/Sigma_Flat_Top_Synthetic_Kabuki_F_80_p/f80.htm?Click=256726

It's only $16.00! High quality brushes for a very reasonable price.

Happy public holiday everyone :)

Wanderlust

Photobucket Photobucket
Pictures unrelated, was going to use them for a review but meh.

Initially I was going to publish paragraphs of the thoughts on my mind but backspaced everything, it always happens. One half of me wants to reveal the things on my mind, the other half thinks you people reading can't handle it. Don't scoff haha, ok maybe not handle it but take it out of proportion.... Label me crazy.

.....Maybe I am crazy, who knows. Every so often I think I am.

I do know that I'm currently consumed with wanderlust more so than ever and that is definitely making me a tad crazy. I've told a few friends but none are game enough to travel any further and only within Australia but that's no way near enough for me. And this is all I'm going to type because I'm so flippin sleepy.

Wait. Most of you are probably thinking, yep this chick is definitely heading to Japan. Nope. As much as I do want go there -Shibuya fucken 109!!!- but, nope. One day but it's not going to be my next destination. I'm thinking Hong Kong, for the random markets. I really love finding random knick knacks and I've youtubed a few Hong Kong markets, so much clothes and so much random! And it's all so cheap!

Then again people are telling me go to Vietnam, because I'm Vietnamese. Well....

I have no desire to visit Vietnam anytime soon. I just can't stand how 80% of Vietnamese people talk. There's the small 20% that speak lovely calm Vietnamese then you have the 80% who sound like they're cursing, all loud and ugly. Quack quack quacking. If I didn't understand a word they were saying I can probably tolerate it but since I do, no way am I willingly going to take a trip to Vietnam. Maybe when I'm old and slightly deaf, then I'll willingly go.

There's so much to experience outside of Australia. Ok now sleepiness has hit me hard. Abrupt ending!

Hopefully one day I will become a globetrotter.

DollyWink Otana Eyebrows

I recently purchased DollyWink eyebrow pencil in #02 chocolate brown and Eyebrow mascara in #03 cocoa. These are visibly dark colours, which lead people to think these will go great for dark hair. Wrong, so wrong. I wore these when I had black hair and it my brows were so much lighter in contrast, I wouldn't recommend these two products for even those with chocolate brown hair.

Light hair, hmm yes I totes recommend!

I was told by Kaire (http://kairechu.tumblr.com/) that this little pencil would last a long time. She only had to sharpen hers three times within a month, I've used it for about a month myself and swear I have only sharpened it once. I use this basically daily, that itself says a lot. Looks small but well worth the money, honey.

Like the DollyWink cream pencil eyeliner this is just as smooth and glides on easily with opaque lines.

A friend of mine recently bleached his hair platinum blonde and had the thickest and darkest eyebrows, he obviously needed my cosmetic help! I bought of over this little beauty along with the pencil and had his sister work its magic on his brows. She commented saying that it was very metallic but that helps cover and drastically brighten the dark brows. If the first layer doesn't do the deed the second or third would. Great thing about this is that it can be applied a few times without the hair getting clumpy, hard or thick looking.

Both products I've purchased myself from sasa.com

P.S This is definitely not a beauty blog. Still mumble jumble :)

Marina And The Diamonds: Electra Heart

My favourite song would be Primadonna because it's obviously so me, coming second would be lies. I love all the songs, it's that good. Mixture of happiness and sadness but the sad lyrics are powerful and fun not like that super depressing suicidal rnb shit. Not that I absolutely loathe rnb, kind of. A bit.
